Print PDFBridget Carlson has represented various clients, both directly and through insurance coverage, in the fields of toxic tort, environmental regulatory, environmental litigation, general litigation and warranty law. Ms. Carlson has worked to consistently provide high-quality detail-oriented counsel to clients in all phases of case management, pre-trial preparation and trial advocacy. Ms. Carlson has experience in all phases of trial practice and preparation, including successfully prosecuting environmental cases at bench trials in Cook and Winnebago Counties. Ms. Carlson has obtained positive results in filing and arguing pre-trial and post-trial motions against Fortune 500 Companies, corporations and individuals.
Ms. Carlson has also worked as an integral part of national coordinating counsel and local counsel teams specializing in asbestos and toxic tort litigation. Ms. Carlson has assertively and prudently helped clients strategize cases with an eye towards earliest dismissals and lowest settlement values. Ms. Carlson works with clients to develop and execute innovative pre-trial and trial strategy based on clients' needs, expectations and recommendations.
SIGNIFICANT RECENT ENGAGEMENTS
- Represented a major automotive client handling all aspects of its defense in a number of automobile warranty cases.
- Served as the Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Bureau for the Illinois Office of the Attorney General - Lisa Madigan.
- Formerly employed as an Environmental Engineer/Consultant for Conestoga-Rovers & Associates, Chicago, Illinois.
- Volunteered for the United States Peace Corps, Mali, West Africa (1994 – 1996).
