Directions To The Sears Tower

Our reception desk is located on the 55th Floor in the Sears Tower. The Sears Tower is located between Adams Street and Jackson Boulevard on the north and south sides and Wacker Drive and Franklin Street on the west and east sides, respectively. Garage parking is available directly east of the building off of Adams. Additionally, there are several parking garages nearby.

Building Security Instructions

Upon entering the Wacker or Franklin Street sides of the building, proceed to the security desk to check in. A government issued picture ID (such as a U.S. state driver's license or ID card) is required for entry. At the security desk, you will receive a temporary ID that includes your name and location you’re visiting.

From O'Hare Airport

Head east on I-190 to the I-90 (Kennedy Expressway) merge. Continue east on I-90 (which merges with I-94 to become I-90/I-94) to Exit 51G (Jackson Boulevard). Turn left. Head east on Jackson to Franklin Street. Turn left. Head north on Franklin ½ block to the main entrance of the Sears Tower (232 S. Franklin St.).

From Midway Airport

Exit the airport onto Cicero Avenue. Head north on Cicero to I-55 (Stevenson Expressway). Turn right. Head north on I-55 to I-90/I-94 (Dan Ryan Expressway) merge. Head west on I-90/I-94 to Congress Parkway interchange. Head east on Congress Parkway to Wacker Drive/Franklin Street interchange. Stay in the right lane to head north on Franklin 2½ blocks to the main entrance of the Sears Tower (232 S. Franklin St.).

From the South on I-55

Head north on I-55 to I-90/I-94 (Dan Ryan Expressway) merge. Head west on I-90/I-94 to Congress Parkway interchange. Head east on Congress Parkway to Wacker Drive/Franklin Street interchange. Stay in the right lane to head north on Franklin 2½ blocks to the main entrance of the Sears Tower (232 S. Franklin St.).

From the South on I-57

Head north on I-57 to I-90/I-94 (Dan Ryan Expressway) merge. Head west on I-90/I-94 to Congress Parkway interchange. Head east on Congress Parkway to Wacker Drive/Franklin Street interchange. Stay in the right lane to head north on Franklin 2½ blocks to the main entrance of the Sears Tower (232 S. Franklin St.).

From the East on I-90 or I-94

Head west on either I-90 (Chicago Skyway) or I-94 (Bishop Ford Expressway) until the two interstates merge (and become the Dan Ryan Expressway). Head west on I-90/I-94 to Congress Parkway interchange. Head east on Congress Parkway to Wacker Drive/Franklin Street interchange. Stay in the right lane to head north on Franklin 2½ blocks to the main entrance of Sears Tower (232 S. Franklin St.).

From the North (west) on I-90 or I-94

Head east on either I-90 (Northwest Tollway) or I-94 (Edens Expressway) until the two interstates merge (and become the Kennedy Expressway). Head east on I-90/I-94 to Exit 51G (Jackson Boulevard). Turn left. Head east on Jackson to Franklin Street. Turn left. Head north on Franklin ½ block to the main entrance of the Sears Tower (232 S. Franklin).
