Segal McCambridge Paralegals Volunteer to Help Greater Chicago Food Depository
A team of paralegals from the Segal McCambridge General Litigation Practice Group volunteered on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 to help out in the important work of the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Henry Lopez, Seth Maddox, Jessamyn Saletta, Aaron McKerry and Kristina Farmer were joined by friends who helped assemble approximately 5,200 cartons of milk to be distributed to various shelters throughout Chicago. Thanks to Seth Maddox for setting up and coordinating the event.
The Greater Chicago Food Depository distributes donated and purchased food through a network of 650 pantries, soup kitchens and shelters to 678,000 adults and children in Cook County every year. Last year, they distributed 58 million pounds of nonperishable food, fresh produce, dairy products and meat, the equivalent of 119,000 meals every day. For more on the organization, click here.
